The Wilkes Head is a Grade II listed building c.1763, that opened as an inn in 1803.

It has now been a public house for over 200 years, tucked away in the historic village of Eastergate within easy reach of Chichester, Arundel and Goodwood.

Family run, the Wilkes Head has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with an inglenook fire place, oak beamed ceilings and original flagstone floors. Outside a the large beer garden and a marquee for private events.

Our team was presented with a certificate for ‘The Western Sussex Camra Pub of the Year 2023’ by the CAMRA members on Saturday, March 18.

The Wilkes Head is renowned for its extensive range of carefully selected real ales, with a modern themed menu offering gourmet burgers and artisan hand-stretched pizzas, alongside more traditional meals and daily specials.

Don’t miss our very popular annual beer and gin festival with live music.
